foamy oil problem (long)

Inasmuch as you're sure that it isn't coolent homogized in the oil (I'd be
suspicious of the metal head hasket unless you have checked and are positive
that the head surface was absolutely flat before installing), air
entrainment can only happen on the suction side of the pump, like the oil
pick up screen/suction tube and gasket.  Any chance that in getting this
item thru and around the windage tray this suction system was cracked or
loosened?  Pull a sample of the frothy oil in a glass container.  Water will
settle out to the bottom, air will disapear out the top.

You're not using that froth prone M1 are you?
