Hydraulic Pump Rebuild

I've been through worse.

Don't have a Bentley, I usually just reference the library's copy, and
didn't figure I'd find info on resealing the pump, so didn't even think to
check. I am actually now at the library, and have seen the write up.

And as to what's leaking, it was really hard to tell what was leaking
previously. It was either one of the caps on the under side of the pump, or
the shaft seal. By the time I got the hoses disconnected, and the pump out,
it got so covered with oil that evidence of source had been completely

I imagine using some pentosin on the seals should suffice as a lubricant?

>Derek, sounds like you're in deep dodo.
>DFI if IAB! If the shaft seal wasn't leaking or sucking air into the pump,
>DFI! No need to replaace the banjo fitting's static seals. No need to
>replace anything not leaking! Usually just one cyl head o-ring does it.
>No need for high torque on these cyl heads, screw driver tight is fine.
>you must use antiseize on the o-ring when installing.
