3b powered Vanagon?

Very coincidentally, I was alongside the WRX-powered one linked below today
in traffic and was checking out the wheels, tires & exhaust. When I read
this post, I called the guy, and he knew of an Audi-powered burgundy
Westphalia in Seattle. He was pretty sure it was Synchro-based, and thought
it might be found on a Vortex link.

Don't think so. Definetely saw an oil pan shape that was very reminiscent
of the 3b. I also think the van I saw was a bit taller with more of an
all-terrain/all-season type tire. More of a synchro type stance. Although it
was dark, I believe it was a different color as well.
