Suspension Upgrades

Hey, that's my car :-)

Anyhow, it has Sachs Springs and Bilstein Sport dampers. The basic
difference between the Sports and the HD's is the height (I forget the
actual height difference, but I believe it's somewhere between 1-1½"
shorter. It's been said that the valving is different, but others say they
are the same. I think it's just the height that's different. Personally,
and from my experience, I don't like the HD's with stock suspension -- the
dampers tend to overwhelm the springs on the type 44 chassis cars (for lack
of better description). I've had Eibachs and these Sachs Springs and think
they complement each other well. No experience with the H&R springs, but
everything I've ever used from H&R has been of very good quality.

And yes, those are 17" wheels with 235/45/17 tires with an ET30 offset.
