Chuck's strut tower Brace

Hi Peter
On our cars the MC reservoir is still in the way regardless which one
you chose to use. I bought the parts from the write up on Scott's
Quattro123 site, it did not work on our cars.
The MC extends out farther that on the 10v versions and there is no real
way to go in a straight line.
I think that by just putting something between the towers is going to
help. I actually checked into putting the car on a laser frame table to
get it
put back to original spec. , but did not have the money to spend.
I doubt that the bar will flex as built. 1" tubing with 3/16 wall. I
would think the strut tower caps are the weak point in comparison.
to the bar. I was thinking of using the jam screw to spread the towers
apart, but the person building the bar figures I would likely tweak the
strut caps and need to reinforce them before I got serious about pushing
the towers apart.
