Climate control A/C center vents vacuum leak

As it turns out, the issue is not completely resolved. On really hot days,
this is still a problem. One thing I've noticed is a really obvious hiss
that last about a minute after I shut the car off. It's coming from either
under the plenum below the windshield or the passenger side wheelwell. I
figure I've got a leak of some sort still.

Subject: Climate control A/C center vents vacuum leak

Using the post in the link below, I was able to resolve the issue of no a/c
out of the center vents when accelerating.
I found an issue with the very same fitting described in the post, though
mine was not disconnected, just loose enough so when it got good and hot, it
would leak enough to hose the center vents.
Thank you Neil, et al, for I know this has been discussed often and recently
I believe, though I could locate those posts.
I actually replaced several vacuum lines which really agravated the
tendonities in my right arm, but I have better a/c again so I guess it was
worth it.
