Oh that helps. I think I must be seeing the A/C compressor below the t-stat  
which doesn't bother me as much getting coolant on. Might have to just do the  
drain and flush as the coolant looks pretty yellow and watery. I like having 
the  blue stuff too as it doesn't cost that much more than a comparable  
non-phosphorous coolant.

But I'd remove the hose from the coolant reservoir to the  radiator to drain
the bulk of the coolant.  If you put a large pan  under the radiator, you'll
catch most of it.
