You won’t need this tool, IMO. Just bridge suspect traces with some  
#24 solid insulated telephone wire soldered between solder pads on  
the PC board bridging the 2 or 3 flakey traces at that cutout area.  
That iron will do fine, as will the rosin core solder, no additional  
flux needed.
