Fixed starting issue

I used a jumper cable to removed starter and determined the starter was
working. I, again, checked wire paths from ignition switch to starter, 0 ohms on
all. I loosened, cleaned, tightened all ground wires. Had the battery
charging overnight, was up to 12.9 volts. The source of my problem I believe was the
starter to block interface. I had the starter out of the car for about a
month doing various repairs and upgrades. During that time some corrosion
developed on the iron. I thought it was clean enough, perhaps not...perhaps a
combination of all helped.
I'm just happy it's working, have a new ignition switch, so, knock on 4
rings, it should be problem free for some time......
Thanks for your help!
