coolant flush - air in system

Have you filled it and want to purge the air or are you trying to get the old coolant out?

The aux radiator is the lowest point in the system outside the block, so open that to drain also.

As far as filling, I've just added after the cars running and have had no issues with air.

whats up..wanted to flush all the green coolant out and replace it. Been at it for a while, draining from the coolant hose at the rear of the engine ( as to what the bentley states). Ive been reading the archives on the quattro list and is it really nearly impossible to clear the system of all the old coolant? anybody btdt? Also there seems to be alot of air in the system. Ive been squeezing the T looking hose that goes to the coolant manifold and to the coolant pump. It seems to be working, just wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks
