given, i'm a bench racer and can't fix shit, but i doubt your turbo was the issue. as long that the thing spins, it will build boost - whether it likes it or not. right?
i think there's something else at play here.

It makes me jealous that I no longer have these issues. I was told
that my turbo was on it's last legs, but it might have been a boost
leak. At the end, I was pretty much running an N/A engine.
One day... maybe I'll pick up another lovable headache.
now who the heck can help me with a CEL from an 02 A4 1.8? (usually
much simpler.... and much less fun)
