This inspector seems way out of line. Ive seen a very big diff here in ny between shops. If your pads r shot replace them they have to put a mic on the rotor to declare it bad. Live free or die ......yeah rt

This sounds all very safety conscious and stuff, but your inspector
sounds way over zealous.
Get yourself a copy of the inspection requirements .
Unless the V8 is grossly lowered, how would he know?
