A rattle in the cat. converter whatever this is, could that possibly
cause the car to miss real bad??????

Unfortunately those are acrylic, I haven't been to pleased with looking
'through' them. I also have set of cut mirror pieces that are similar.
They
work ok, but are just...odd.

I also agree, I ordered mirrors from Blaufergnugen (920-758-3232) and
they come with double sided tape, and after three years no issues.

This is exactly why I did not recommend he even tries to remove the old
mirror; leave it in place and glue a new one over it, I tell you, I had
this
for 10 years on my sedan and it's still there and in good shape.
