I cleaned my wheel sensors and my lights are still on. Where I live there are no real shops that have all the electronics to read the computer on a A4. My wife who drives the car every day tells me that sometimes when she pushes the brake peddle the lights will go off and when pushing on the brakes they feel like the abs is wanting to kick on with the pulsating feel. After a few minutes the lights come back on. It sounds to me maybe a wire is not all connected, maybe corrosion is getting the best of a wire. Help me out, please.

I hate to break the news to you, but most likely your ABS controller is
toast. It was the case with my '98 A4, as well as with a lot of other A4
of the same vintage.

If you VAG-COM the car and it does not communicate with the ECU (Module
1), and the ABS light is ON, you should prolly start looking for a new
ABS controller.
