[ba] My wrecked V8q (BA)

As usual, you are a great help. Hey, I will drive my baby 200 miles one way
for a good body shop. If I have to go to Santa Clara, I will do it. I
think I will probably do the mechanical work myself. I know that suspension
so well, no reason to pay for someone to do it when I can do it quite
rapidly. the body work I won't touch. Not on the V8q anyway. I am not up
to the task.
As for Steves info, here it is:
2503 10th Street
Berkeley, CA 94710
He did not do the install himself. He bought it from a shop in Vegas
already converted. From what he told me it was owned by a Porsche mechanic.
His wife was driving the car when I think the t-belt went. Solution: 4.2.
Steve got it running well, but not quite completed. If memory serves me
right, he had just finished it up when I met him.
BTW, if it makes you feel better, I have been through the whole T-belt thing
Enough Audis to give plenty of headaches.
