This is a 1993 Audi V8 4.2 liter 5-speed with only 83,000 miles. The color combination is pearl white with Connelly gray leather interior. The car is legendary for being the first full 4.2 liter 5-speed conversion done by master mechanic Keith (Das Wolfen) of Audi Connection. This was a very expensive conversion lavished upon a very fine car. New suspension bushings, drive-shaft, clutch, pressure plate and so on were installed as part of this meticulously done changeover. The perfectionist nature of this conversion was completed when a newer 5-speed transmission with only 60,000 miles was sourced from Germany and installed afterwards at Audi Connection. This V8 is a reliable car with detailed maintenance records. It comes with Audi A6 4.2 17" pie-plate wheels and 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS dB tires. Even with these big wheels and tires, this V8 has a very supple ride as new Boge Turbo-Gas shocks are installed that nicely complement the performance of this V8 5-speed. The unreliable
Bose radio system has been replaced with a Pioneer XM CD/ satellite radio system. For an extra $250, you can even have a dual XM/Sirius satellite radio installation with a 12-disc Pioneer CD changer. There are a few lightbulbs burned out on the dash display and one of the Yokohama tires seems to make a whirring noise. Other than that this V8 5-speed is as nice as you'll find. I am only selling this to buy my 2002 BMW M3 convertible that is coming off lease. Don't miss out on this one! It truly is a rare, desirable, fast and comfortable car. And yes, the price is firm.
