My loss is your gain. I totaled out my '91 V8Q 5 speed a couple years ago. The fall prior, I had a set of 4 Goodyear Ultragrip Ice M+S P205/65 R15's professionally installed on the factory rims. I only drove them 1 winter (which for me means less than 3K miles). The tires look BRAND NEW, which is more than I can say for the rims. I do have pictures, but could not compress them to put in this ad. I can e-mail the pics(56k warning), and I believe I found the worst looking rim for the photos. They have a sporting ride for a snow tire. I say that because we put blizzak revo 1's on my wife's WRX, and it has a more "squishy" ride. I did not get a chance to drag race her with the snows on, but I would say the grip is pretty close. I was able to pull my friend's suburban out of a snowbank using the V8Q with these tires! (He has now come to his senses and purchased an Audi). The closest new tire to this is the Goodyear Ultragrip GW3. I priced out a set with cheap closeout rims
through Tire Rack: with shipping was $719. Speaking of shipping, you pay, and I priced out to MN or VT were about $50/wheel. Or stop by W. MI yourself and save the $$.
