Ya, but how about gutless low end response??  Those 3.6 V8's have to be revved, I am sure a lighter chassis helps, but I would wager that a mildly tuned I5 turbo has mounds more torque at 3k RPM than the 3.6 V8...I am not convinced that a 225 hp V8 with even less tourque is worth the effort over a tuned I5 turbo that has potential for 300+hp.
