I think one of the problems you finally run into (e.g. Dahlbach et al.) is
not whether you can hold enough boost or pressure, but whether or not you
can bleed either the initial pressure or the oncoming flow FAST  enough to
save your A**, or get things back under control.

We should all have such problems


PS - as for "performance" etc. isn't this same valve also used by the
Porsche folks?
