Hydraulic pump, Type 44 - questions

I appreciate this tip, but it's not what I meant...

The Family Album lists three different banjo bolts at the pump for the pump
to rack hose. FA doesn't indicate which one is to be used. Bentley does
give some detailed info, but doesn't say anything about why it matters. I
don't have Bentley in front of me, but I think it lists four different
bolts for the pump (rearmost port ... outlet port I think it's called) to
reservoir hose. All this seems to only apply to the earlier crush seal
type of setup. On the 89 model year FA only lists one of each type of
banjo bolt.

Your previous comment re: the earlier pump (pre '86) being higher pressure
would suggest that a banjo bolt with different size holes in it would
likely be spec'd. I could see where a mismatched banjo bolt could cause
problems, including noise.

Thanks for the help.
