4kq e-brake adjust?

I have this exact problem on my 90 100Q. The best response I got from the
list was to remove the parking brake handle. Disconnect the cables from the
adjuster then you can remove the handle by removing a pin at the pivot
point. Then take out the handle clean the threads and adjust it to the
correct lenght. I also bought a 6" 1/4 drive flexible extension to do final
adjustments. I will try it over the holliday.

Good luck,
