K24 on 1.8T was what color is my K24

This is just a thought but it makes sense in my head right now.

Since the 1.8T 4 cyl is a bit smaller than the 5 cylinder in the early S cars
wouldn't it stand to reason that a K24 would not have to work as hard to
produce similar boost pressures?  If that is true then less work = cooler air
= more hp...  Also the 5 valve cylinder head may help a little.

I have seen similar upgrade kits that have employed the K-26 and even 27!!
