We need a better solution for these type 44 fans. With other cars
I've had better luck, and no odor, by putting a drop of light machine
oil on the bearings of the motor (not the brushes). I'm going to try
to drill a small access hole or two in the heater case this weekend
for lubing. If anybody has a picture of a fan motor it would help me
find the right spot, and then I can put up a web page with the
correct places to drill.
