There were numerous VAG twin engined beasties during tht 80's but only one
that Im aware of was factory backed and used in competition. That was the
twin 16v motord Golf used at Pike's Peak and a few other select events. I
have some pics of it on my hard drive if anyone would like them. The others
that were put together were:
twin 8v motor'd Jetta (A1 chassis)
Twin 8v Motor'd Scirroco (search the web for Durrocco for a modern one)
then the later ones NOT by VAG but from a British tuning firm:
Twin 16v Rabbit on NOS
Twin VR6 Golf's
MTM's Bimoto Audi TT with dual 20v Turbo's
