If the hall sensor is bad, then you would get no spark. Maybe its
intermittent, bad solders etc. But you can check if the hall sensor is
working correctly by turning the distributor (turn over engine by hand
or remove from head). I believe it should be 5v when it is not at the
window, then it should drop down to 0v when it hits the window.
Thats what I remember when I had a nostart and a hall effect sensor ECU code.
