1990 10vt avant - falls on its face at 4k rpm

A few things to check:

   - Check that your control pressure is correct and is not fluctuating
   - Check (with and oscilloscope that your hall sensor in the dizzy is not
   sending extra triggers.

My 90 10v avant suffeed from both of the above and had similar symptoms to


   - I assume you've pulled the codes and found nothing?
   - Hook a duty cycle meter up to the duty cycle connector and run the
   leads into your car so you can perch the meter on an open glove box. Then
   check to see what is happening when the car goes flat - too lean? Too rich?
