*This message was transferred with a trial version of CommuniGate(r) Pro* Hi Y'all, The big show of the small town, Bridge Day in Fayetteville, WV, is about a week and a half from now, October 17. The event features BASE jumpers legally jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge, 876 feet above the water below. Lots to see and do: the BASE jumping, rappelling, zip line, all kinds of vendors, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, trail riding - horses or bikes - and, this year, one added feature is a Chili Cook-Off in the late afternoon/evening after the jumping is over. That weekend is usually at about the peak of the fall color season as well. Plus, for us Audinuts, there are many miles of fun country mountain roads for a bit of a romp. Just be cautious about the bear population. They like nothing more than being able to say "Ah got me a furriner in one of them Audis today." (See? Audi related content, Brett. ;-)) Typical Bridge Day attendance is in the 100,000 to 200,000 people visiting our town of 2,700. It's a BIG DEAL and people come from all around the world for the event. http://www.wvbridgeday.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_Day See ya in a few days? Bob
