My suggestion is simply omit steps 1 through 3 and go directly
to step 4. :-)
I am presently having the upper bolster repaired (broken foam),
so I can attest to the work involved in removing/reinstalling the
seat, not to mention the tedious work of disassembling the seat
and returning it to its former pristine condition after the repair.
The heaters were ok.
