[s-cars] air leak....poor performance

I found my leak under one of the plastic Xover pipe mounting tabs. The
plastic was cracked but hidden by the tab.
Worth a look...

The plastic x-over pipe has a metal ring inside where the MM hose clamps
down on it. This has been known to become dislodged and the plastic pipe
then disorts and pressure can escape. I believe this was reported by another
lister a few weeks ago.

Steel pipe from early model year is the way to go. I purchased one from
another lister that had FMIC'd their car.

Did this to my car a few weeks ago.

have looked for it a few times but I cannot seem to find it. The
performance is poor -- feels like 75% of what I used to get, and I get
shitty gas mileage too.
