[s-cars] failed BOV? What is a good replacement?

Get the Bosch "N" version from your dealer - about c$50. They will actually
try to sell you the part out of ETKA which is the "J" version I believe
(plus charge a whole lot more), but the "N" is the one to get.

So while accelerating (hard) today I start to hear
this noise that sounds like a siren!

Inspecting today I determined the noise was coming from the turbo
area.....checked the impeller on the cold side and everything looked

I had Popped off the BOV from the intake hose on the turbo to gain room
to inspect the turbo. Just for the heck of it I hooked everything up
the BOV and started the car, the BOV had air just flowing out of it.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a bad thing?
