I bought my 7424 at a local tool store, prices were competitive with online-
you can get these at Home Depot as well.
Yes, I use it.
I'd recommend going to a site like autopia or carcareonline and getting the
Meguiar's velcro backing plate and Meguiar's buffing pads- the type depends
on what you're doing.
I also recommend picking up some 3M Imperial Machine Glaze- works wonders
with cars that need a little more than a simple waxing.
I don't apply wax by machine, so I can't help you with that, but one or
possibly two passes with the glaze is what I usually do for a full detail
job, followed by two coats of wax.
