[urq] NAC: Dust to Glory

I just finished watching a documentary film titled "Dust to Glory" on the  
Encore Action channel here in the USA. It is about the Baja 1000 race in  
Mexico.... WOW! It had really great "in car" scenes showing the crazy  Mexican fans 
barely getting out of the way of the rally racecars and  motorcycles.
 
Reminded me of rally films from the Group B era...... I had no idea the  
current Baja 1000 is still so dangerous.
 
Maybe I should buy a pre-1982 Beetle and enter the "stock" class!
 
Does anyone know if any European rally cars or quattros have ever run this  
race?
