Wow, Funny you mention that about AudiFans. I was on MotorGeek the other day and someone was saying something about AudiFans in a somewhat negative tone. I had to bite my tongue. Sure, for all out mods MotorGeek has some skill and some cutting edge development on Audi's. But for me, AudiFans is where it all started. I wouldn't have a turbo in my 4kq, or own an ur-q if it wasn't for the original "QuattroList". Damn, I guess I was cursed to ever discover it. I'd have a lot more money in the bank if I hadn't. ;-) I hope a National Event happens. And I hope I can go. Now that I'm single again, maybe I can. l8r > From: urq <urq at pacbell.net> > Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2007 15:31:11 -0700 (PDT) > To: ury <urq at audifans.com> > Subject: Re: [urq] UPG 2008 Planning > > There are other areas in North America which also contributed to the naissance > of quattro on this continent ... arguably the folks in Denver and environs > were as instrumental as Frank Beddor, Jr, and lets not forget about Buffum and > others in the Rally contingent, primarily back east.
