Thanks Scott and others for the input.

I like what Scott is saying, but I still think it must be central and within 2 days of the East and West for this to happen.
Stretch it to 3 day for one half of the attendees and its 6 days driving for half the folks and 2 days driving for the other half.  Not gonna happen.  

Now, I'm in Texas so I'm very neutral and I can play the Judge Advocate.  I'm also willing to drive up to 2 days each way if necessary.
