Like Jason said, having a wireless transceiver like you describe is a pretty
small niche application, especially considering that RS-232 serial protocol
isn't really used in mainstream PC applications any longer.

Let me make another suggestion in terms of finding a source for this- some
A/V receivers and home automation controllers use RS-232- maybe there is a
vendor that does home automation and/or A/V that has something similar to
the box that Jason linked to that isn't super-expensive?
