Almost 4 is a good age to have them fetch parts/tools. :-) My wife has a
prized photo of 3 pairs of legs protruding out from under an Audi.... mine,
two year old daughter and 5 year old son.

The now eleven year old can change over the summer tyres to snows and back.
All I do is work on some other project in the garage to keep an eye on
things like jackstand placement and verify the torque. Even if they don't
turn our to be car nuts at least they wont be scared of looking under the
hood of a car or trying to figure problems out for themselves.

I've set (and missed) several goals for completing the restoration of my '65
MGB, Martin..... Keep getting interrupted by too much other stuff (job,
kids, life, etc).
