[urq] Replacing broken seat cables

Can anyone give me the benefit of their experience of replacing the tilt release cables in the quattro seats? I.e can it be done without dismantling the seat? Any hints and tips? Is there a website with an idiots guide to this job? Any guidance gratefully received.
