[urq] Door Lock Vacuum Pump Options

I had a few minutes yesterday so I thought I'd try to complete the swap of
the Coupe GT door lock pump into the urq.  I've had the new pump sitting
behind the cover for a couple weeks.  For some reason I figured I'd be able
to just swap the new pump in place of the old . silly me!  So . I have the
pump sitting in the area it should mount, but there's no way it will bolt
onto the plate that fits in there.  

 

I'll probably try to rebuild my pump again, but I thought I'd ask if anyone
here have any cool adaptations they would like to share.  

 

My eventual goal is to see if I can't work something like the '91 V8 where
there's a lock/unlock switch just ahead of the inside door release handle .
I've grown really accustomed to being able to lock and unlock the doors
without having to pull/push on the lock at the back of the door.
