[urq] Power sunroof in URQ?urq urq at pacbell.netWed Feb 13 23:41:59 PST 2008
March European Car eh? I guess I'll have to pick up a copy ... I can't say I ever saw an electric sunroof either ... in a Coupe GT even. I guess they did have the tilt/slide sunroof in the 4000, perhaps it would be something that could be fitted. I have a tough enough time with headroom with the pop up sunroof. I can't imagine they'd motorize the pop up version, would they? I'd imagine someone like John Buffum could get the car built any way he wanted! :-) Steve B San José, CA (USA) -----Original Message----- In a message dated 2/13/2008 6:03:57 P.M. The Bentley diagrams (which are not the most reliable) show no "optional" wiring or connector. The March European Car mag has a nice write up on the URQ and claims the cars were hand-built by never more than 48 employees, with constant updates and electrical additions causing the wiring diagram to grow from a starting size of 8 pages to over 21. Then again, European Car has been about as reliable with URQ info as Bentley. I had not heard of a power roof till this. Very intersting!
