[urq] Power sunroof in URQ?

A friend of mine has an 84 WR with an electric sunroof. It was fitted by
Audi dealer Dovercourt in London when new, presumably to special order.It
has a bespoke roof lining as a result rather than a modified factory roof
lining.
I have since seen one other like this but am told there are more. Was yours
a UK car orginally? Probably not but I guess there were people over there
(US) who did them too.
