[urq] Aftermarket boost gauge issuesdgraber460 at aol.com dgraber460 at aol.comMon Jan 7 11:27:55 PST 2008
When I was installing my Autometer unit it dropped gently about 32" vertical on a padded carpeted surface. Never would read right after that and had to replace it.?They are fragile buggers. Is it brand new? (I'm thinking not..) Did it get dropped? It reads 25 in/hg at idle, and 10 in/hg with the motor off. I hooked a mighty vac pump up to check vacuum at the port the gauge is tapped from, and it read 14 in/hg, which I believe is correct. Are these things adjustable? Do I need a new one or is it just dirty?? Car runs fine otherwise. _______________________________________________ Audifans urq mailing list Send posts to: mailto:urq at audifans.com Manage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/urq UPG2008 planning at: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/urquattro/ You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at http://audifans.com/shop/ _______________________________________________ Audifans urq mailing list Send posts to: mailto:urq at audifans.com Manage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/urq UPG2008 planning at: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/urquattro/ You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at http://audifans.com/shop/ ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever.
