[urq] [20v] Eibach Spring Install QuestionEric Renneisen racingiron at comcast.netWed May 21 15:34:22 PDT 2008
[sniff] I'm glad my baby (20v.org) still proves useful after all these years, even though I'm ashamed to have abandoned it so long ago in such a sorry aesthetic state! FYI, here's my post from a while back on Eibach details: http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/urq/2006-March/008512.html Eric R. The CQ is different from the 4kq. Its Progressive in the rear and Linear in the front just like www.20v.org says. I got confused because apparently the 4kq is different. If you are curious I also noticed that the rear spring is the same as on the ur-q. Specs are below. 83¹ Turbo Quattro Coupe Eibach Progressive Springs, Pro- Kit #1511.140 * Specifically for the '83-'87 Turbo Coupe Quattro (per the box). * Part numbers > * 1511.001 (front) >> * Free Length: 315mm +/- 15mm >> * Wire Diameter: 13.208mm > * 1511.002 (rear). (Same as 90¹ CQ) >> * Free Length: 296mm +/- 15mm >> * Wire Diameter: 11.792mm 1990 Coupe Quattro Eibach Progressive Springs, Pro- Kit #1511.140 * Part numbers > * 1510.001 (front) >> * Linear Rate >> * Free Length: >> * Wire Diameter: > * 1511.002 (rear) (Same As UrQ) >> * Progressive Rate >> * Free Length: 296mm +/- 15mm >> * Wire Diameter: 11.792mm > From: Todd Phenneger <tquattroguy at yahoo.com> > Date: Wed, 21 May 2008 11:10:19 -0700 > To: 20v list <20v at audifans.com>, urq list <urq at audifans.com> > Conversation: Eibach Spring Install Question > Subject: [20v] Eibach Spring Install Question > > Hi, > I've just recently gotten some Eibach Springs for my 1991' CQ.
