[urq] Pulling Wiring Harness out of a 200 3B?

Hi Guys:

This has proven to be an incredibly difficult process involving dismantling 
the whole dash.

Am I missing something and overcomplicating the process?

I assume that I have to pull the harness through into the engine 
compartment?

As you know, the ECU harness "splits" just before the firewall, one section 
going to the engine compartmkent and one to the fuse box.

It is the section going to the fusebox that is proving to be very difficult 
to get out from behind the heater unit and pedals.

Please confirm that I need all of this.
