[urq] Wheel Bolt Alignment ToolIngo Rautenberg ingo.rautenberg at gmail.comSat Oct 4 20:12:48 PDT 2008
Thanks, Alan But if I may I'd like to recommend a more robust alternative made by Brendan Rudack's Company, Apikol (just a satisfied customer) that makes a stainless steel version instead of the OEM plastic one. It's $20, but well worth it. They call it the Magic Stick: https://www.apikol.com/#Products,Suspension,20 -Ingo (with enough audis that I change wheels/tires a plenty ;-) On Sat, Oct 4, 2008 at 10:52 PM, Alan Pemberton <alan_pemberton at telus.net>wrote: > In case anyone is missing the threaded rod (temporarily screwed into the > wheel hub to align the rotor and wheel while installing the bolts) they are > available from the dealer as > > 893-012-223 Tommy Bar > > Purchased one today for around $10 and it makes a world of difference when > replacing the wheels. > > Alan > 85 urq > _______________________________________________ > Audifans urq mailing list > Send posts to: mailto:urq at audifans.com > Manage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/urq > > North American Celebration of the 25th Anniversary for the urquattro: > http://www.urq25.com/ > > Pictures/Polls/Database at: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/urquattro/ > > You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at > http://audifans.com/shop/ >
