[urq] wheel bolt allignement toolIngo Rautenberg ingo.rautenberg at gmail.comSun Oct 5 07:48:47 PDT 2008
Pat, Not everyone has a Metal lathe at home/work like it seems you do. ;-) Yeah, you could do that, but Brendan's has the thread reworked to prevent binding and is actually made of stainless rod stock with the thread cut into the piece. In a pinch, I've also used an aftermarket wheel stud to align the wheel. Whatever works. -Ingo On Oct 5, 2008, at 3:13 AM, p.carlier wrote: > Just a thought friends . > > This "tool" is no more then a long M14*1.5 bolt with the head > cut off and a small hole drilled in the shaft . > > I've made dozens of them for friends and friends of friends . > They certainly didn't cost 20$ . > > Pat > _______________________________________________ > Audifans urq mailing list > Send posts to: mailto:urq at audifans.com > Manage your list connection: http://www.audifans.com/mailman/ > listinfo/urq > > North American Celebration of the 25th Anniversary for the > urquattro: http://www.urq25.com/ > > Pictures/Polls/Database at: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ > urquattro/ > > You can help keep the audifans site running by shopping at http:// > audifans.com/shop/
