[urq] ZDDP in oil

So the latest issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic has a little blurb about a
product - a ZDDP additive.  Apparently it's a chemical taken out of a lot of
newer motor oils that older engines like - they particularly mentioned flat
tappet (as opposed to rollers) lifters - which is what we have - right?
They said most of the "high mileage" motor oils have ZDDP and that some
diesel motor oils have it.
 
I have been using Rotella T Synth for a few years based on info from another
lister - my understanding is that Rotella was/is formulated for heavy diesel
use - or something like that.  All I really got was that it was supposed to
be good.  But that said I also use Mobil 1 too.  Whatever. 
 
Anyway - anybody want to weigh in?
