Yup, that's me with one of the few Canadian '86s.  The original post was
about the fabled US '86, which I'll have to see to believe.  I'd certainly
be surprised if it had a digi-dash considering the Canadians still got
analog.

The really interesting detail, IMO, of the dinner we had with Eric when he
passed through was the car years owned. Five guys were there, and although
not every car was there - this is what was represented:

Steve E '82 (being converted to '91 spec)
Dennis '83

Eric '86

Early last year or the year before actually.  I remember because I and a few
others met up with him in on his way back through Denver and it was cold and
snowed that night.  He has recounted his tedious drive east on old summer
rubber the next morning.

Speaking of which, we finally got our first snow of the season, down here in
the Springs at least, and I've watched a tree in my backyard have all of its
leaves blown free in huge clouds of swirling color, just during the course
of this morning.
