Jim, I think you are right. I'm missing a relay and have no idea what part number or anything else about it :-( The black wire is much thinner than the other two, so it would be likely providing a signal. The switches do have numbered settings. It makes sense that the motors would have pre-set travel distances, only function when the headlights were on, and other functions controlled by a relay. The motors might work if I just hooked up the ground and yellow power wires, but then I'd have to be careful, keep curious fingers away from the switch, etc ... I think I'll give that a try before installing everything. Does anybody out there know what the relay part number would be? Maybe I can figure it out from the FA. Is anybody in Europe listening?
