I think I've come to the conclusion mine are in fact originals.  They have the tab, which Eric confirmed his have, as well as the "production week price tags"  and are printed on the appropriate paper.  The only thing they don't have is the "audi ringe" and part number imprint that Eric mentioned, but I can't believe someone would go to the trouble to put the production week stickers on their to increase the look of authenticity if they were doing fakes.  

Mine came from the UK, and were in a plastic bag stapled around the decals, not unlike other factory decals I've seen that would have had a pn sticker on there.  

In any event, I'm hanging on to them I guess.
