[urq] Visor Clips

I agree, the guy wanted to run 1000 pieces to make it economical.....which would probably be enough to outfit every NA car two times over and someone (not me for sure) would have shelled out several grand to get this going vs. a few hundred dollars.  Hopefully later this week or earlier next week we'll have more info.  Whatever the case I'm already committed for the first batch....

after doing water pumps in my boats outdrives this weekend I'll try never to buy anything from china ever again......although replacing a visor clip only takes a couple minutes so you can consider making them disposable, we chose to make them best possible so we never have to deal with this again.....maybe there's some coupe gt guys who can add to our numbers on this project...i didn't even check to see if the part # is the same....personally I wouldn't waste any money keeping a coupe gt running specially $50+ for visor clips. 

Anyway, like I said before, hopefully the cost will come down, b/c it's high, (ridiculously high), we don't mind if noone wants any at that price, it's only a few 10's of dollars to us, which is small compared to the time consumed making them available for public consumption

Yes, me too... sorry. 60 dollar is pretty steep in any case, profit or not.

Perhaps it's possible to manufacture the clips in China or Taiwan? They can make copies of 
virtually everything for any price as long if you order enough clips...
